- geoah 5y agoI really have come to enjoy the small things it does more than the stackoverflow-like functionality. Its autocomplete suggestions are way better than intellisense could ever be as it adapts suggestions to the actual variables and patterns you are using. In go for example one of the most used auto expansions I’m using is if “iferr” that expands to “if err != nil { return nil, err }”. Issue with this is that the err variable and the return params are many times different. Copilot will mostly correctly fill these in based on your function. It’s an amazing next step from the same autocomplete we’ve been using for the past 20 plus years.
