- ender341341 5y agoIt's likely only profitable to mine on a ps4 if you're getting free or stolen power and the PS5 is harder to get a hold of right now that graphics cards so it's a rare cross section of people that it'd be profitable for. For context on the PS4, it came out in 2013 and as with most consoles it's comparable to top of the line graphics card from a couple years earlier (in this case generally compared to the Radeon HD 7870 from early 2012, so it's a nearly decade hardware.
