Global Tax Overhaul Gains Steam as G20 Backs New Levies
- Proven 5y agoThe goal is to destroy capitalism, plain and simple, and make both individuals and companies dependent on the government. When one compares the amount of taxes historically paid by corporate customers with budget deficit, it is insignificant (60 year average in the US is just 3.5% of GDP) - any overhaul won't make any difference whatsoever. I don't know who came up with the observation, but today taxes are merely a means of punishing political oponents, which means those against globalism and socialism. Also, remember that all taxes are ultimately paid by consumers. Say goodbye to growth.
