This is fantastic. While the hits of the decades are saved, often the crust & effluvia is discarded. Take for example, the HBO shorts that filled the odd minutes between the hours when movies would start, rather then starting them back-to-back (or compressing/editing the film to end on an hour). A few of these gems are on YouTube, but the rest have been lost. Fortunately some people saved long VHS recordings of the inbetween moments.
