4-hour workweek and such books have taught Westerners to de-humanize Indians and give them the most menial jobs imaginable at next to nothing salaries
- logicalmonster 5y agoMany Indians have excellent skills and rise up in the corporate ladder. The CEOs of Microsoft and Alphabet, among many other highly paid industry tech leaders, may disagree with your antiquated notions. BTW, if you want to speak of dehumanization, perhaps taking a look at India's caste system would be interesting. As far as I can tell from Western civilization, one of the core values in the modern era is that you have every opportunity to try and earn wealth based on your skills and talents the same as everybody else. The implementation of this system isn't perfect and can be argued about all day long, but the core value at the center of it is pretty solidly defined.
