Lol it’s funny you mention polio. I was reviewing the data and it had pretty much gone away in its own before the vaccine was in widespread use.

- emoII 5y agoPlease link to a valid source if you're going to make such statements
- imwillofficial 5y agoYeah let me try to dig it up.
- CorrectHorseBat 5y agoFamous last words... Please don't spread misinformation about one of the most successful vaccination campaigns that saved thousands of people per year from being crippled or dead. And especially not during another pandemic in which there already is enough misinformation about vaccines.
- mkbkn 5y agoCan you share the data or your findings please? From what I see, the situation is the same in India - hardly any vaccination and the big 'C' cases have gone down significantly.
- CorrectHorseBat 5y agoLOL, the vaccine was introduced in the USA in 1955, in the Netherlands in 1957 (higher on the chart means more cases): https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/prevalence-of-polio-rates-in-the-united-states?country=~USA https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/prevalence-of-polio-rates... https://www.rivm.nl/polio https://www.rivm.nl/polio
