It's also popular because a browser engine as a lot features that are otherwise difficult to get (e.g. bandwidth-estimated multiplexed video streaming).
- throwaway894345 5y agoAlso accessibility and bulletproof text rendering and input handling and layout and a million other things that are a lot more involved than people think. I say this with great sadness as someone who wishes Electron wasn't the most practical solution at the moment.
