He is a complete vaporware salesman.
1) Hyperloop wasn't even realistically possible given the laws of physics.
2) What happened to tesla Truck?
3) Solar Roof turned out to be a failure.
4) 100K promise to deliver a person on Mars. As a reference to take 1kg to low-earth orbit (ISS) costs around twice as much.
5) Where are all the self-driving cars?
You only need high-school physics to debunk half of the stuff he comes up with.
- fourseventy 5y agoYa because zip2, PayPal, Tesla Roadster, Tesla Model S , Tesla Model X, Tesla Model 3 , SpaceX Falcon 1, SpaceX Falcon 9, SpaceX Falcon Heavy are all vaporware....
- maverick-iceman 5y agoNone of those things ever made any money. They survive thanks to constant equity raises and government subsidies. All Musk companies failed to produce profits or positive FCF, they were all sold to bigger fools who didn't look under the hood. At Paypal for example there wouldn't have been a hood at all if it wasn't for the board firing Musk and bringing in Peter Thiel. SolarCity exactly the same, solely the bigger fools now were the shareholders of the other publicly traded company which fails to make positive FCF
