Thanks for the link! Seems like 1,000 banks is a bit of an exaggeration.. if you remove the duplicates, I don't think there's even 100.

- robertsbernans 5y agoNo, that's not exaggerated. It's very common in many European countries to have strong regional banks. There are over 6,000 banks in Europe.
