- fshbbdssbbgdd 5y agoThe article you linked here says California’s population increased between the 2010 and 2020 census. The state lost a congressional district because other states grew faster.
- partiallypro 5y agoDoesn't that prove the point though? Immigration into the state has clearly decreased.
- kelnos 5y agoNot really. An "exodus" implies a -- large -- net decrease in population. Decreased growth is not an exodus, even if it's driven more by people leaving than fewer people arriving.
- jandrese 5y agoCalifornia was also hit fairly hard by some of the changes to procedures for the 2020 census. It was likely undercounted compared to 2010.
