Sure, I’ve seen a lot of it first hand, both as a developer and in other roles. It’s sad really as it feels very destructive / counterproductive. But it seems hard to get around.
Couldn’t help noticing your username implies you’re Swedish. I am too. Sometimes I get a feeling there is something about Swedish work culture that makes this worse. We have a long tradition of workers unions and collective bargaining, and everyone being replaceable is sort of taken for granted (or even encouraged). Any thoughts on this or how to get around it?
