Not really. They just burn fewer calories by sitting around when they get older. Calorie count remains constant, burn goes down, weight goes up.

- Romanulus 5y agoI would assume from the decline in muscle mass... but anything else lifestyle-related would be difficult to track in a big study, I bet.
