Show HN: Note.Delivery, a fast text sharing website with no tracking
- samizdis 5y agoOK, it does exactly what it says on the tin :-) Any explainer/further info about this?
- danskeren 5y agoFor me the primary use-case is to share text between my laptop and phone (e.g. a long link, an article, some note I wrote on my commute, etc.) The website was originally written in Go and had a few more features (such as password-protection), but decided to remake it to focus more on speed and remove the features that I felt made the UI "noisy" ^_^
- higgins 5y agoClean and does what it says. Love it. Unsolicited feedback: For the use case you call out, it might be nice to create the notes with an "alias ID" or "pathName". Something that will redirect to the note id. Or the id space is a combination of dictionary words. Looks like those ids are 8 characters long so it might not be too bad!
