As somebody who has read more than average about home education and unschooling and certainly contemplated it, but ultimately decided to send their children to school (and can see the pros and cons!), that is interesting. It must be hard to control for the type of parents who decide to unschool and I'm curious as to how they did that. I guess there might also be a bias in terms of which types of children parents are inclined to home-educate, although I imagine most families do home-ed all their children. I sometimes wonder if mine had been the other way round if the decision might have gone the other way - I think school suits my oldest much more than my youngest.
