I feel like we are heading towards the world where the USA, EU, and China each form separate, isolated economies. Each economy would try to produce everything by themselves and import as little as possible. The flow of information and research would get limited.

- loa_in_ 5y agoPart of the lore of a series called Ghost in the Shell is that to cross certain region borders around the world you need to swap your cybernetic body, or whatever has been cyberized, to the local variety model, otherwise you don't get access to the local internet (which makes life really hard). How fitting.
