He provided reasons for not providing pictures on the github discussion:

Tbh I don’t think it’s particularly relevant whether or not he can convince online people whether he was physically attacked. There is clearly evidence of online harassment and that is enough to justify him stepping down.
- alabamacadabra 5y agoThere is not any evidence of that. The evidence is that he is having some sort of traumatic thing happen to him. It may be entirely caused by himself. Hopefully this person gets the help they need as the situation evolves and it becomes more apparent who is level-headed here.
