Do all videos about gun rights violate Youtube policy? Maybe the content was actually problematic, but presented like this, I'm wondering what was the problem on this one.
- wmf 5y agoFrom the report: "Mozilla has intentionally steered away from strictly defining what counts as a YouTube Regret, in order to allow people to define the full spectrum of bad experiences that they have on YouTube." So seeing a recommendation for a video that disagrees with your poltics is a "regret" but it's unlikely to be harmful. Mozilla is really watering down their argument here. Oh wait, "Our people-powered approach centres the lived experiences of people, and particularly the experiences of vulnerable and/or marginalized people and communities". It's just another front in the culture war.
