Some of this would be fixed by something like hypersign which will tokenise ID/reputation.
Some other parts of this could be fixed, let’s speculate - with a token that rewards people for verifying that houses around the world that are up for rent are real and match the photos.
The point is - having a centralised company doing something can be replaced with 10 000 individuals doing the same thing with the right crypto token that rewards the right kind of activity.
Hard ? Yes. Impossible? No way. Get a lot of smart people on the problem and they will figure out the Best incentive structure. Figure out enough incentives and you abstract away a layer of the software stack - customer support, verification ID, verification of real-world items.
That’s what we’re seeing now - layer by layer of applications will become tokenised until the application layer becomes obvious.
