Missed or possibly don’t care. The technical details aren’t interesting, but I do think it’s interesting just how disjointed life is vs what was promised. In the US, this was aptly named a rat-race; and the white collar Chinese with a market-based economy are suffering the same. Our markets and nations promise some combination of wealth or retirement and enjoyment of life, but it’s an ever-moving goal just out of reach for anyone but the lucky few.
