I don't get it. The "spatial predicated" spec given in the post is just code, at another level, but just code. You just move the complexity one level up. Sure for some scenarios writing the spec is way easier than writing plain code; but for other scenarios the spec will be as complex as the problem requires it... and so we are again with the same problem "how to write correct specs (or code)". We already tried this in the past: machine code -> assembly -> C -> Haskell -> ...
