This is why I still have hope for Android and Chrome.
Even as Google ruins their reputation, we can always fork and abandon our dictator.
Heck I'm already using a Chrome fork.
I have a weird relationship with Google. I'm thankful and disappointed. With Apple/Microsoft/Amazon, I'm just disappointed.
- enumjorge 5y agoIt won’t be so simple with Android. Google has moved critical parts of Android to closed source. You still need to play by Google’s rules if you want to have access to the Play store, and so far, mobile platforms have lived and died by their app ecosystem.
