The post resonated a lot with me. You might be right that we're looking in the wrong place -- but confoundingly, at this point I don't even want to. It's hard to know what I'm giving up by not looking for good movies. My imagination tends to light on the many bad movies I've seen, not the few moments of awe or other positive emotions. But it's easy to know what I gain -- something like four hours a week! That's so much time!
