I was very skeptical after reading this article last night but I checked some hobby code I am writing to see if I really needed the 7 golangci disable comments. It turns out I didn't really need them and that I had not understood the lints correctly. I recommend anyone else who is also skeptical to try to remove some of the disable comments -- you might be surprised.
