I'm just wrapping up a 3 month Sabbatical from Google. Best decision I made this year. I think you should take the plunge given you're already strongly considering it.

- cweill 5y agoI was so burnt out that I was struggling to focus at work. During my time off, I did several things like exercise more, do some reading, a bit of travel, pick up some new skills that don't involve sitting at a desk.
