The results say :
"The primary outcome of hospitalization was met in 14/250 (5.6%) individuals in ivermectin group and 21/251 (8.4%) in placebo group (odds ratio 0.65; 95% confidence interval, 0.32–1.31; p = 0.227)"
That's a 2.8% absolute difference, 50% relative, 33% less hospitalizations with Ivermetcin.
Also, as per the MSN article "Of 15,968 people who tested positive for Covid and were excluded from taking part in the trial, 12,356 could not participate because they were already taking ivermectin."
Could somebody with better understanding of the field indicate how it compares with other studies, and how the methodological exclusions might affect results ?
The articles assertion "But the largest trial yet comparing ivermectin to placebo was published on Friday." is false according to this recent meta-study :
