My main issue with the Ian knot is that the standard half (overhand) knot you need as a base is taking most of the time now. Any pointers to improve that?

My main issue with the Ian knot is that the standard half (overhand) knot you need as a base is taking most of the time now.
Any pointers to improve that?
- aidenn0 5y agoI don't use the Ian knot, but Ian suggests using the same motion as when tying the loops, but pull the loops all the way through
