The "Node Everything" project is producing such exciting stuff. Animation nodes and now geometry nodes have made some really amazing things possible. Geometry nodes have been iterated on so quickly, too! Pretty sure Blender is going to be best in class, or very, very, close for basically every portion of 3D cg work within the next 5 years.
