For the US, the fast path would be to push for all Federally Funded Research to be published under a Public Domain License, no different than NASA Images, recordings, or other public agency created research.
We need to extend those provisions to include all research that gets federal tax money

- ta988 5y agoThod is already true for NIH funded research after a one year embargo. But yes I would support that. Authors have to sign away the rights to their own texts and pictures to publishers! not just sharing rights like you do when putting a.picture on twitter, no... giving your full rights...
