- Buttons840 5y agoIs this a printf injection I guess?
- colejohnson66 5y agoProbably sprintf(), but same idea, I’d assume. Accidentally passing the user provided string (the SSID) as the first parameter (format string). Too bad Apple’s release notes aren’t descriptive enough. We’ll probably just get “a maliciously crafted network SSID could cause issues requiring a full reset to fix”.

- tppiotrowski 5y agoTweet is misleading. According to this tweet[1], you need to connect to the network to disable Wifi [1] https://twitter.com/Lickwidsoap/status/1411675812063891461 https://twitter.com/Lickwidsoap/status/1411675812063891461
