It takes less energy to transport a mole of hydrogen gas by pipeline than a mole of water? I haven’t heard of that before - do you happen to have a reference handy?
Isn’t the moles/sec of hydrogen versus water much lower for a given sized pipe? Is the wall thickness of a conventional gas pipeline adequate for this use?
- okareaman 5y agoNo, I don't have a reference. I assumed a gas would take less energy to transport, but mole for mole, I could be wrong.
