What's the point of using google groups?
- dlgeek 5y agoThe CT program was spearheaded by Google and the discussion in question is on a list owned by the Chromium project.
- throwaways885 5y agoMailing lists are great. Better than a slack for long-term discoverability.
- tester756 5y agoHow about GitHub issues?
- throwaways885 5y agoIt's not the same thing. GH Issues firstly requires a GitHub account, whereas anyone can sign up to a mailing list. The model is just worse for general discussion too.
