Put another way: If Covid was as deadly as the cold, the chance of someone dying of it would still be close to 1. A story about a death would be worthless. Same for a story about a lucky survivor if Covid had a death rate of 99.9%. The chance of 30 people visiting a party and exactly the 6 vaccinated ones not being infected randomly is neglible.
