The NY Times is in a competition with themselves to write the dumbest headlines and see how fast it can shovel its credibility into a bonfire.

- Huwyt_Nashi050 5y agoIt's very naive to view this as "dumb" when it is in fact an obvious Jewish propaganda piece. I'll start by pointing out that "white" is not capitalised, while every other ethnic group (including the grammatically-comparable "Black") are capitalised. It also attempts to divide Whites and everyone else by implying that Whites are disproportionately wealthy at the expense of all other ethnic groups, including Jews, whom it specifically mentions among the supposedly-oppressed by cleverly referring to historical characteristics of these suburbs rather than their modern compositions. This is apparently subversive in light of the facts [0,1]. Jews in the area enjoy a relatively high median income of $75k-$100k, while only 6% are below the poverty line - the vast majority of whom (up to 80%) are in fact "Jews of colour". Unfortunately this comment will be flagged/removed for pointing these things out. Please, if you see this before then, and especially if you are White yourself, maintain a very critical view of anything from NYT.
