Steve had a number of out there beliefs. At one point, before Co-founding Apple, Steve believed his fruit only diet would mean he no longer needed to shower, much to the dismay of his Atari coworkers. He also tried to fix his pancreatic cancer through diet. I suspect he had many more out there beliefs, but was self aware enough to keep them to his self.
