Windows 11: Understanding the system requirements and the security benefits
- deviledeggs 5y ago> "to be honest, I would not recommend it being optional," David Weston, partner director of enterprise and OS security at Microsoft, told TechRepublic. "Without a TPM, you're not going to have segmentation, which is what we want". Well... At least they're being transparent about being terrible. - aksss 5y agoInstalled Win11 this last week. Underwhelmed, particularly with new start menu, even when left justified. I’ve switched it back to center to try and get used to it, but I honestly think I prefer the presentation of the Win10 start menu. If this OS is simply about formalizing hardware requirements, fantastic. The new skin seems just underwhelming, but at least it doesn’t seem like the complete cock-up that v8 was.
