Place to Move If You’re Worried About Climate Change
- fallingfrog 5y agoI live in New England, and we’re seeing impacts already. The tick population has gone from near zero in the 90’s to them being ubiquitous now, with Lyme disease everywhere. The mussels that used to cover the rocks at low tide are gone, replaced with other sea creatures like hermit crabs. The summers are much hotter than they were. The lobsters are still here but they will probably decline in the next few years. There are droughts more frequently now.
- culopatin 5y agoSo basically the article is 80% “it’s complicated” and 20% “Maybe it’s New England or Michigan, idk”
- foolzcrow 5y agoClimate change is a normal process that the 1% use the media they literally own to tell us is not normal. Deserts used to be oceans. Now they would call it climate change and demand more control over your life. Every solution is us returning to plebs. What a coincidence. Bitcoin probably caused Pangaea to crack. Reminds me of the Mayan preists using solar eclipses to make people believe they controlled the sun. If a condo collapses it's not a slumlord that was warned, no it's climate change evidense. Stop letting the 1% poison the rivers and atmosphere with their money greed. Problem solved.
