So then everything this scientist [1] says about the lab is a total lie?
`There were strict protocols and requirements aimed at containing the pathogens being studied, Anderson said, and researchers underwent 45 hours of training to be certified to work independently in the lab.`
Your Wendy's burger example is extremely naive as it compares two very different work environments. I highly doubt you could simply walk in and get a job at the lab as you can at a fast food outlet.
Fact is none of us were in the lab and China haven't done a very good job being open and honest about their research there. But I really don't think propagating this simplistic idea that it was a lab leak is fair on anyone.

- redis_mlc 5y agoYour post is very disingenuous, as she admitted in the article that a lab leak was possible based on historical leaks: "Anderson, better than most people, understands how a pathogen can escape from a laboratory. SARS, an earlier coronavirus that emerged in Asia in 2002 and killed more than 700 people, subsequently made its way out of secure facilities a handful of times, she said." > China haven't done a very good job being open and honest about their research there. Again, you're being a useful idiot for the CCP. WIV investigations have been stonewalled for over a year, their own doctors and journalists have been threatened or arrested to remain silent, and they deleted dozens of corona sequences from the NIH database. At this point I have to assume the CCP is paying you off, like the 27 virologists who signed the coverup letter in 2020. The international conspiracy over corona GoF by virologists now includes the US, Australia, Canada and China. (Australia trained some of the WIV staff and collected bat samples in Australia and processed them, but initially denied that.)
