And these categorizations could probably vary wildly. This is the first time I've ever heard of the WaPo being aligned with the US military industrial complex and I was part of that complex for twenty years. I'm guessing this new title is because it's owned by Bezos and he provides a lot of AWS tech?

WaPo news stories in the lead up were certainly aligned with the US military industrial complex. In my memory, the NYT and WaPo (the most important two "liberal" newspapers) both being in support of a republican president invading a third world country is one of the most notable evidences that the MSM is complicit with the government.
