I empathize but I just don't like the narrative here where it's all the internet fault and cancel culture has gone too far or whatever. If you tell someone they're ugly you're a dick and if you tell someone they're ugly and they go home and shoot themselves you're still a dick but you're certainly not responsible for their death. Apparently we aren't mature enough to have a discussion about reasonably expected consequences here though.
