I've heard that AWS is struggling to hire and retain, so I see this "Strive to be Earth's Best Employer" and "Success and Scale Bring Broad Responsibility" as attempts to reform their image as needed to bring in and retain employees. Best of luck to them. I'm considering new positions, but not with AWS: if I interview with AWS it'll just be for a stronger position negotiating with other employers. Too many red flags at Amazon.
