SEEKING CONTRACT WORK | UX/UI and web design Example project: https://www.checkbot.io/ https://www.checkbot.io/ Portfolio: https://www.seanw.org https://www.seanw.org Location: Remote + Edinburgh, UK Email: sw@seanw.org ----- Hi! I offer UX/UI and web design services to startups to help them improve the usability and presentation of their products. I have an edge in coming up with practical design ideas that keep development constraints in mind because I'm also an experienced full stack developer that sells apps I've made myself. The best live example of my work is Checkbot (https://www.checkbot.io/ https://www.checkbot.io/), a paid browser extension that tests websites for SEO, speed and performance problems that's designed to be novice friendly. The entire project is my own work including UX/UI design, branding, the extension (using TypeScript, Node, Vue and Firebase), custom website design (optimised for fast loading) and all copy/articles/guides on the website. [ Checkbot is rated 4.9/5 across ~700 reviews on the Chrome Web Store, 40K+ active users, 100s of paying subscribers ] I have 10+ years of experience and I've been working for myself for about 5 years. I've completed projects for 20+ companies including Just Eat and Triumph Motorcycles, and I have a PhD in software verification. See my website for testimonials, portfolio and more: https://www.seanw.org https://www.seanw.org Email sw@seanw.org with a short description of your project and how you think I can help. I'll get back to you within one working day so we can arrange a call and work towards a quote.
