Is this new information? I thought it was well known that Venus is dry as a bone for quite some time now.
Anyway, Venus is hostile to life (as we know it) in so many ways, the lack of water is not even the biggest problem, as far as I can tell.
- samus 5y agoIt is well-known since the 1980s that few places other than Venus' surface are more inimical to life as we know it. The higher athmosphere contains sulfur and acid as well, but pressure and temperature are a lot nicer, and there was hope of finding something interesting there. Now that hope is pretty much gone too.
