My bet would be on self driving car data.
I interviewed a while ago at their special project group (the car) and come to think they did mention they made a heavy use of commercial cloud providers...

- quantumofalpha 5y agoHow would that explain 50% yoy increase that the article mentions? Number of active iphone users seems to grow a lot slower than that.
- Crash0v3rid3 5y agoApple has leveraged on-prem, AWS and in the past Azure for their iCloud storage needs. This likely means they are divesting somewhere else and investing more in GCS.
