Don't lazily conflate procrastination with self-deception. Passing a task into the future can be done honestly, and must in order to tune your workflow as described here. Being honest with your evaluation of your work doesn't mean that you have to blind yourself with it. There are people who need to keep moving, like Paul. There are people who need to rest to make any forward motion at all, but they aren't necessarily behind. Time may not turn one type of worker into another.
