Let me give you one of my reasons for getting the vaccine. We dont know much about the long term affects of the virus, except that in some people ther eis a long term affect. HIV infects people and you would barely know you have it until 10 years later and then bang, your immune system is failing. I dont want to find out that in 10 years coronavirus is fucking up something vital. If there was a HIV vaccine available today I would take it, even though my chances of infection are incredibly low, because the downside is massive and the vaccine risk is low. Same with coronavirus, perhaps its just a bit like flu, but I dont want to wait 10 years to find out i was wrong.
