Shouldn't the patent reveal how it works? Why would any customer trust a a QKD service without such an explanation? How does it avoid denial of service attacks by anyone able to observe a signal to/from the satelite?
- londons_explore 5y agoYou aren't the target market for this product. The target market is CEO's who are scared of hackers, and who will hand over lots of money to have their data "quantum encrypted"
- winter_blue 5y ago> "quantum encrypted" This is a form of encryption that relies on a physical phenomenon called quantum entanglement, and is actually unbreakable (even with an infinite power computer).
- londons_explore 5y agoI was using the other meaning of the phrase "quantum encrypted", to mean "encrypted with a complex but not peer reviewed scheme and slathered in enough snake oil to make the CEO hand over cash".
