Intel Delays New Chip in First Setback for CEO Gelsinger’s Turnaround Effort
- TheParkShark 5y agoNot one mention of Apple and their M1 chip. WSJ reads more like advertising than information, only serving to highlight how “bright” Intels future is.
- genmud 5y agoThis is not good for Intel, though I will say that this is likely not anything that is within Gelsingers direct control. Likely years of poor decisions, middle management rot and other factors led to this. If I was an Intel investor, there are some positive signs. The fact they are looking to diversify themselves a bit and potentially decouple their fabs from their IP/design is actually a huge deal.
