I look forward to seeing how G+ solves this, it's my core issue right now that I'm getting barraged with photos from people I don't know well. I'm not really into seeing random photos of food, whatever, but I like what they have to say when they actually post text. I also see G+ being like Twitter in that you can engage with the community on core topics rather than having to know who to follow. I'm sure I'm missing out right now on great conversations because I don't know who's posting them. I'd also like to be able to use G+ as my blog on certain topics that some friends care about, but not enough for me to reach out to them and ask if they'd like to be in my 'postings about this topic' circle.
