LLVM Logo Redesign
- haiku- 5y agoWhat's HN's opinion on this logo suggestion for LLVM?
- celticninja 5y agoI like it, the gif showing how the letters are incorporated is very useful. One criticism is that the first L is at a totally different angle/position to the rest,which are all slightly slanted to the left. The first L looks like to has fallen over. - haiku- 5y agoThanks for the feedback, I've edited the post to fix the typo. I wish I could say English wasn't my first language... All I can say is at least I spelt LLVM correctly. I'll try a version with a reworked tail to see how it looks.
- celticninja 5y agoPerhaps criticism was too strong a word, observation would have been better. I didn't mean to imply anything wrong with it, It was just something that stood out to me. I am not a designer,I'm a dev, so take my thoughts on design with a pinch of salt. I think what you have done and how it is presented is excellent.
- haiku- 5y agoCheers, no I think it's a valid point. I've added it to the thread as a variation so will see if anyone voices a preference either way.
