  Do they have any of the same stack-ranking in the Flex algorithms that they employ for full-time jobs? That could explain some of this as intentional, the algorithm working as designed, as opposed to simply being coldly inhuman. I know, never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence. But I'm just checking for misguided competence.

  It seems that the media is specifically targeting Amazon and and try to create a negative impression of it. It appears that left-wing journalists have quite a grudge against Amazon.
